Roof of Africa under question mark for 2023

In light of the current situation around Roof of Africa, WESS Promotion GmbH is putting the event under a question mark for 2023.

Live Lesotho (the organizer of Roof of Africa) announced that they will no longer be involved with the organization and management of the Roof of Africa, with immediate effect. After four successful years, the contract between LORA (Lesotho Off Road Association) and Live Lesotho was up for renewal at the end of Jan 2023. Unfortunately, the negotiations concluded have not been successful.

Winfried Kerschhaggl – FIM Hard Enduro World Championship Manager: “We have been informed by Charan Moore and are aware of the situation. As we are loosing our main collaboration partner “Live Lesotho” for Roof of Africa, we have to put a question mark behind the event being part of the championship for now. Nevertheless, we do not want to close any doors and will announce official steps once we have investigated further options.”

In summary, WESS Promotion GmbH is acting proactively, making necessary adjustments for the good of all involved in the Roof of Africa event and the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.
