Ski Legend Marcel Hirscher Takes On Red Bull Romaniacs

Tackling mountains of a different kind, ski legend and eight-time overall FIS Ski World Cup winner Marcel Hirscher will race Red Bull Romaniacs, experiencing for the first time a round of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.

Regarded as one of skiing’s greatest world champions, Austrian Marcel Hirscher also shares a huge passion for Hard Enduro and will compete at Red Bull Romaniacs – July 27-31 – for the first time.

While more akin to descending mountains on skis in winter, Marcel has switched to two wheels for the summer and is excited to tick Red Bull Romaniacs off his bucket list.

Having spent time training at home with close friend and Dakar Rally winner Matthias Walkner, Hirscher is ready for the world’s toughest Hard Enduro Rallye.

Ensuring he experiences the fullest flavour of Red Bull Romaniacs, he’s decided to compete in the Silver class – just one category down from Gold.
