VALLEYS HARD ENDURO

Friday, May 10th

Format: Top 48 ranked FIM riders, according to 2023 Championship, will compete in the heat elimination races. Before the start of the heat races, there will be a 30min, practice/bike test session on this track. The rider’s fastest time will be the time used to determine the start line position on Day 2 – Qualifying round.

Course: 1-mile extreme course in the arena.

Saturday, May 11th

Format: Single lap prologue runs. 1 lap in the morning, 1 lap in the afternoon, the faster lap counts for the qualification of Sundays main race, as well as for FIM Championship Points.

Course: Approx 6-mile/10km Course on treacherous terrain, forest climbs and rock climbs.

Sunday, May 12th

Format: 2,5hrs Multi lap race with several checkpoints on an extreme course.After 2,5hrs all checkpoints will be closed and the riders will be ranked by correctly passed checkpoints during that period.

Course: Approx 17 Mile extreme course with some sections cut out.

EVENT DETAILS

Eagerly awaited by the many British Hard Enduro competitors and fans, the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship will visit Wales in the UK for the first time in 2024.

New to the calendar, The Valleys will be a three-day Hard Enduro race held on the 10th to 12th of May The event will be held at Walters Arena - the iconic 4000-acre old coal mine site in a historic mining town in the South Wales Valley in the UK.

With over 20+ years of experience, hosting high calibre off-road events, Nick Plumb and organizers of Outdoor Welsh Events are busy finalizing the final details of the Valleys race.
