This Saturday the final round of the inaugural FIM Hard Enduro World Championship is set to reach a thrilling climax and will take centre stage on Red Bull TV.

Only three points separate Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt and Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Manuel Lettenbichler at the top of the championship standings. Bolt has the upper hand, but Lettenbichler has the home advantage.

Bolt and Lettenbichler won’t be the only two riders to keep an eye on. With a wealth of riders all capable of rising to the occasion on the day, there are plenty of spoilers in the mix to turn this title bout into a dramatic day of racing.

Sherco Factory Racing’s Wade Young is the only other rider with a mathematical chance of becoming champion. But, as he sits 17 points behind Bolt, winning the title is a tall ask. However, he will be looking for another winning performance this season to secure his top-three result in the final championship standings.

Mario Roman (Sherco), Jonny Walker (Beta), Taddy Blazusiak (GASGAS) and Hixpania Hard Enduro winner Alfredo Gomez (Husqvarna) are all more than capable of mixing things up and potentially delivering a result that may have a direct impact on the final championship outcome.

A Hard Enduro amphitheatre of sorts, 24MX GetzenRodeo’s course is a brutally demanding battle ground. A morning two-hour GetzenRace will whittle the initial 60 riders down to 15 for the all-important GetzenChamp finale. For 80 minutes riders will then push themselves to the absolute limit around what promises to be an incredibly technical forest track. Come the chequered flag, the first FIM Hard Enduro World Champion will be crowned, on the finish line winner’s podium.
